and this is why i love capitol hill. directly across the street from a bmw dealership is a fancy sex toy shop displaying dildos in the window. i passed a little boy (probably two or three years old) walking with his grandpa and he was staring intently into a tattoo parlor, as if it was the most fascinating place he's seen thus far in his short life.
i spent most of the day in volunteer park, stretched out on a blanket, soaking in the sun, eating a spelt bagel w/ avocado and filling up my notebook with various thoughts.
