I Am Actually Still Out Here Somewhere . . .
I still read my flist, and comment occasionally, but I just haven't had the impulse to post recently.
I'm still working at Walmart and finally earned my first week of vacation time with them this past December. So last month the Sprog and I went to Hawaii. We had a wonderful time and I could go on and on for pages about the adventures we had.
One warning, though. The Big Island (where we were) is very poorly illuminated. Whole towns have no streetlights and the streetlights that are there are this odd yellow color that only makes things slightly less dark. Our plane also landed at night. Trying to find our hotel was an adventure. I actually considered just spending the night in the parking lot of a beach (which I didn't realize *was* a beach, it was so dark) until morning.
