I'm watching Diego, Boy Dora (okay, it's not a total clone -- the premise is different, and the title is actually Go, Diego, Go!, which is in itself a vein of comedy gold) now, and I really think they need to write more precisely.
Diego's sister, Alicia, apparently was sent out as some kind of animal-busybody advance scout. She called Diego to tell him that he needs to find a "mommy macaw."
Except that's not how she started. She started by saying that she had a baby macaw and a macaw egg, the egg was starting to hatch and the baby was hungry. 8-O
I always thought that macaws were vegetarians. I didn't know they practiced cannibalism.
And, while making sure that macaws *don't* practice cannibalism, I found this gem: The macaw diet is mostly vegetarian; you can see the chicks eating by looking at pictures online.
Wow! Cheap food. Well, unless you have broadband, I guess.
