Black river
Few days ago I finally took my creek boat out for the first time since MooseFest 2017... I guess mountain biking and sailing got into the way of kayaking but it was nice to get the kayak wet again... The best part is that I didn’t even roll once, so who knows if I still have a roll :)
We ran upper section of Black river and according to on-line gauge water lever that day was around 19 m3/s. I only ran this section once before in April 2008 during massive flood so I was excited to see this river during “normal” flow

The river is nice and mellow at the start
Eventually you get to the 3B falls
After that the next big rapid is Particle Accelerator
The dam in Queensborough was next one... I tried to get at least one picture of everyone in our group
I even got pic of myself.. :)
