General Rantings
So my roomates inform me that yeasterday a tour group came through our room. I can only imagine, I was looking around as she told me this, and I can only wonder what those kids must have thought. Theres Ericas side, which is cleanest, and has pictures of J-Rock singers, and then some japenese charectors written on a poster, and picture of cats. ALong with some bamboo and a a really cool calender with some asian art on it that i cant totally identify. Then there is my desk next to hers, with a hair brush on the printer, a fish bowl, and everything from boxes of cookies to spoons, to checkbooks and bobby pins covering it, about everything but desk supplies. My slightly risque postcards, sparkly things strewn about, and a ribbon with a turtle on it that says "I like myself!" Then you turn a 180 and you have merediths side, a "Project runway" sign and picture, 3 empty polard springs water bottles covering her desk as well as purrel hand sanatizer, the only visable clock in the room, and everytype of dictionary that there is.
Hmm.
I point all this out only because i find it interesting. The roomate thing is working well i think. We have acumulated candycorn, brownies, reeses cups, and snickers on top of our refridgerator for us all munch away at. Things are sweet. Pun fully intended.
I watched "Gummi bears" with nichola and sharon, its some cartoon that was on the disney channel when we were kids, but i never saw it, i was more of a "Secret world of Alex Mac" kind of girl. And i showed Nichola how to use Ourtunes, so all is good.
NEW PET PEEVE-Songs that refer to girls by name. Example: "Diane" by Guster "Amie" by Damien Rice and most songs by bright eyes. It really annoys me.
I have really got into some new music while i have been here. I really like Guster, and Frou Frou, Keane, Dispatch, SUGARCULT, Wilco, Barenaked Ladies. Man there is alot of good music out there. And no, it isnt all new Indie not-so-well-known rock, infact, most of it has been around for a while, but its all new to me.
