I love this bit: 'Automatically, they all turned to Teal'c. "I have nothing to apologise for," he said sternly.

"No, I, uh, guess not," said the Colonel. "But it throws the whole rhythm."'

Nice handle on the early season sam/jack tension. Not too over the top, but enough that it's really interesting.
