Deep down within me words move in phrases

Because I am essentially vain and cruel, this is the snippet I cut from the end of Unlahfulliche in Lyhte:

---

Read that first, though, otherwise this'll completely spoil the ending. )

stargate fic, writing stuff

OH NO!! I mean, I get why you cut it, but at the same time I'm like 'Why did she cut it??'

Oh my god, make me stop adding to this story

Are you kidding?? Keep adding!! It'll eventually evolve into a sequel which is what we're all after anyway ;)

Gah! No. No, I have other things I must do. I have ficathons. I cannot keep writing this.

(*g* Thank you!)

ok, so this is how this day is going.

its my 21st birthday. i have had 4 coffees bought for me today so far, (its 12 noon now) 2 cupcakes and am currently eating a piece of ferraro rocher cake.

and then this.

so far, about an 14 on the scale of 1 to awesome.

thanks :D

ps, on this little captcha thing that is on this page, i had to type 'was maximum' which i think is pretty fitting, on account of you are hitting the maximum of rad. :)

Ooh--I love the addition, while also seeing why you didn't use it. But then again, just keep writing and we'll enjoy it as "alternate" parts of a great story!

Okay, yeah, that's evil. But I've got to agree with Aurora - the ending you have now feels just right. Thanks for this peek though. :)

Where all these words (or, perhaps more importantly, these complete sets of beginnings, middles and ends) are coming from, I don't know. Perhaps it's the walking?

I've been reading a lot of meta lately about plot and how to find it, develop it, etc., and then had some thinky thoughts of my own that basically could be distilled into "Plot is what happens when I'm busy making supper and can't possibly write this great idea down right now and am forced to actually keep thinking about the story." So maybe the walking is to blame. Either way, go you! I'm enjoying this roll you're on. :)

Heh, thanks!

"Plot is what happens when I'm busy making supper and can't possibly write this great idea down right now and am forced to actually keep thinking about the story."

Yes, that's exactly it. If I have the time to just sit down and write, straight off, it generally ends up as the sort of short thing that I can't develop into something longer because OMG plot holes. But if I have time away from the computer, but time where I can think about the story (not when I'm completely distracted), it develops into something I find more satisfying.
