When, for example, I tell you that fig-tree trunks often bear large nodal tumors, where branches have been shed or removed, I am giving you some ficulnean information. Ficulnean: worthless information regarding fig-tree wood. Yes, there is a word for that. Aren't you glad to know it?
There are plenty more where that came from - words such as woundikins, artigrapher, dodrantal, xenization, and teterrimous (none of which are recognised by LJ's own spellchecker).
