I'm not going to do the whole Stargate meme currently going around, because my answers are so similar to a lot of other people's that I can't be bothered (*g*), but I had a couple of thoughts, which I shall now tell you. Aren't you lucky?

I've noticed that most (all?) people seem to be choosing to be Tok'ra rather than Jaffa, and that interested me ( Read more... )

Y'know, I was thinking Jaffa myself. The Tok'ra are very... tiresome to me. I think I'm with Jack and his opinion of the Tok'ra. The Jaffa look after each other and the Tok'ra have no problem cutting out on their on people. That's not a crowd I'd want to hang with ( ... )

Mm. I wouldn't feel safe amongst the Tok'ra. Never homely, never alone... no doors. I'd hate that. :) The Jaffa, though - well, if it was post-rebellion, that would be okay. Before that, though, there's a worryingly high chance of being randomly sent to die by a Goa'uld.

The guy who played Bregman is one of those actors that I know I've seen around - the Vancouver pool again. I've not seen Nero Wolfe, so it's not that... but something... I thought he was fantastic, in being irritating and invasive at first, and then coming round to being believably sincere and passionate. And I loved the little bit with him and Janet - it was so understated, but so clear.

Yeah, though - Dixon and his tirade about having four kids was just fantastic. Hee. I just adore the glimpse we get into everyones lives in that ep - the relaxed way SG-13 interact, it did feel like a proper team, and not just "pretend we all know each other really well, starting now."

He's been in lots of stuff. I don't know if you ever watched Frasier, but if you did, he was Daphne's fiance for awhile.

Hm. I only watched Frasier sporadically, so it's possible... I've probably just seen him in various things, and he only really properly registered in my brain when I saw this.
