what a weekend...
Let's see... Friday evening was spent with Sai and CP at the houkah in gtown. Sadly, I did not manage to perfect the art of blowing smoke rings, but kudos to Sai for getting it :) We did run into Mic though... it seems to be a common occurance while in gtown.
Saturday, went to the André Kertész exhibit at the NGA which was incredible. I adore his works from Budapest, but its unfortunate that he only made contact prints, so they're tiny. One of this photos, "Rue Vavin" made me really excited because that was the street I stayed on in Paris last summer.
AAL was quite fun, Dan got me tulips! I love tulips! Dinner at Raku, headed to the dance, got a free shirt, etc.
I need to rant about something. I swear, in the past 2 weeks, the majority of senior boys who have never drunk decided to make up for lost time by getting hammered every weekend. I blame that stupid party and that stupid basketball game. I only get pissed about this because most of those guys are my good friends and its so obvious that when they talk about it, they sound absolutely retarded. And no, this is not directed at one person, but all of them, so don't you dare take this personally. Let me just say on behalf of those who have brought this up, either stop it or shut up. Drinking, though fun at times, makes you look like a dumbass for the mostpart and when people are talking and laughing near you, they don't think you're cool, they think you're an idiot. Personally, my respect for certain people has gone downhill in the past weeks. Honestly, the way some of you talk makes you sound like a 14 year old who just had their first sip of wine at a family function. So even if you continue to drink, at least try to play it off instead of pointing it out.
