Ep. 103 recap.

Jul 08, 2009 21:35

Hey everyone, as usual, a tad late, but here is my recap for the latest ep, behind the cut. Like last week, all mistakes are mine. I was typing as I was watching...

ep. 103 Amor a bocajarro

- Yes!!! Silvia finally gets the opening monologue... which starts with her saying: "They say that falling in love is an involuntary act, like a reflex. Something that you cannot learn, nor control. Like breathing. I don't believe it's like that. I have had to learn to love woman because I fell in love with one. I learned to take strolls while holding onto her waist, to slide on her bed trembling with passion, and to have twice the amount of underwear in my dresser. And I did it with the same fear and excitement of a five year old girl learning to skate on an ice rink for the first time. Tomorrow is my wedding day, and I am no longer afraid."

While she goes with the mologue we see a montage of all their first moment in Paco's bathroom, their stroll in the hangar, their first time in the fake stake out.

Then we see them making googly eyes to each other looking very sweet and in love.

- My guess is that they're close to the last customers at the cantina, and Pepa says to Silvia they need to head home because they're getting married in the morning, and they need to "rehearse" for their wedding night. To which Silvia replies, "today we can't sleep together." Pepas asks why. Silvia replies "yo know what they say, the night before we can't see each other, or touch each other, or anything like that.  I want to do things right. I want to sleep by myself tonight. Too see you tomorrow at the wedding, while my father walks me down the aisle. While you're there gorgeous."
Pepa:"Is that what you really want?"
Silvia: "No, but I would like to try"
Pepa agrees. They take their last shots, and as they'r walking out, they hear a song and begin to dance.

- As they're dancing and touching each other in a really sensual way Silvia says: "Pepa, if I knew you dance so bad, I woudln't marry you" and runs out laughing, leaving a laughing Pepa behind. Cue in opening credits.

- Bleh, Superbrats are in bed while Sara has a nightmare of Lucas and others getting shot.

- Cut in to Paco's kitchen. Paco's cell phone rings, it's Lucas calling. While the phone keeps ringing, Mariano makes a comment about Lucas maybe being at a connecting airport waiting for the final flight to Madrid. Back to the Superbrats, Aitor tells Sara it's ok, he's used to sharing her. That Lucas can have her in her dreams while he has her in real life. Sara tells him it's not that. Back to the kitchen, Lucas now calls Mariano's cell. Paco asks Mariano if he's taking the call, and speculates that Lucas probably wants them to pick him up at the airport. DL keeps reading the paper during the exchange.

- Back to the Superbrats. Aitor asks Sara what's the problem, she says she's not sure, but thinks that something bad is going to happen. Flashes between that and DL's phone ringing. Lucas is now trying to call him.He ignores the phone as well. Mariano asks him if he's picking up. DL says no. That he's not Lucas's friend. If he were, he would have told him what awaited him back in San Antonio. That they shouldn't worry, that once he lands in Barajas (the airport) he'd find out he'd been lied to by everyone. Paco brings out his trusty hankie, Superbrats are still in bed.

- DL calls Pove to asks details about the preparations for his daughter's wedding, and asks Pove to find 32 Gladiolos (sorry, not sure of the name in English) because Silvia is 32, and they're her favourite flowers and she did not have them when she married Lucas. He also instructs Pove he doesn't want anything in the car, he promises that there will be nothing tied to it. And while he asks Kike for a loan for money, and gets the suggestion to get them at the cemetery because they're half price there, he catches Nelso wanting to tie down cans to the bottom of the car (surprisingly enough, they're blank... no product placement here) saying he wants the car clean as whistle because otherwise DL will hang him by his thumbs. All the time, he's distracted and misses that there are two bodies in the trunk.

- Rita is already wearing her orange dress, remembering how Montoya asked her to the wedding. They're like high school kids so infatuated. She starts to ramble, and he finally kisses her, in front of everyone in the precinct. They're interrupted by Curtis to tell Montoya the Italian police is taking Francesca (Bravante's wife) to Naples to declare in front of a Judge. MOntoya says no way, that she's under the protection of the precint and no one will take her anywhere.

- Cut in the cemetery, Pove is arguing with the person who sells flowers about the colour of the flowers. They argue about him having to take all the flowers from the arrangement, he doesn't want to because they're for a wedding, and he's not going to take that kind of flower arrangement there. All he wants are 32 gladiolos. The flower seller can't hear him and tells him she's putting together something for him. He rushes out of the car, and tells her he'll buy everything, but will only take the gladiolos.

- someone sneaks in and steals the car. Of the bodies in the car, starts to yell and bang. Pove tries to give chase, and Pove calls Montoya to tell him what happened. He's freaking out. Montoya asks for the plates, and asks him if he's ok. He replies that he's not. That they stole the car they'll be using for the wedding. That he might have to end up giving a Silvia piggy back ride to the wedding.

- Inside the trunk, one of the men is yelling in Italian for help.

- Back at the precinct, Montoya promises Pove they'll start a search for the car and then approaches Salgado and asks her why he wasn't informed about the two Italian agents that were going to transfer Francesca. Salgado tells him the CNI knows about it and they're ok with it. Montoya and Salgado butt heads. He's pissed because they promised Francesca protection under the Spaniard Witness proctection program and that they promised to protect her. To which Salgado replies that Francesca is the main witness against the Italian Mafia and she has to answer questions regarding her connections to the suspects. Once that's done, they'd keep the promise to her and offer her the new identity and the protection that entails.

- Montoya agrees, but adds that she won't leave the precinct unless she's under the protection by one of his men. Salgado agrees. He asks Rita to arrange the transport and the protection detail.

- The "agents" are insulted. He doesn't back down. He sends Curtis along to personally escort Francesca.

- Kike and Nelson arrive at the site for the wedding, they're being observed by the Mafia, and one of them goes to inform El Gordo of their arrival.

- Back in San Antonio, the Superbrats begin a video as a gift for our girls, and I will admit that what he says is actually sweet. He tells the camera that the usual gifts usually get forgotten. He tells them that perhaps to many, they're an example to a lot because theirs is the first homosexual wedding in the force, but to him, they're a lot more. Because they did not listen to others that said their relationship was banned. (part that pisses me off about the speech, they flashback Superbrat moments), that their relationship wasn't convenient. That they reached the summit against all odds (he uses a comparison of making the summit of Everest) just to have the satisfaction of having the world at your feet, even if it's for a short moment, like the life of a butterfly. He ends by wishing them happiness. Sara looks all in love and the Superbrats have another moment. They have to go and fuck up a sweet moment. As they're making out, Sara has more flashes of icky things and now looks afraid.

- Cue in Paco and Mariano. They're getting ready for the big day. Paco is ironing his shirt, while Mariano grabs his guns and makes a comment about the possibility of a big fight (referring to Lucas and the Superbrats, but we know it's foreshadowing of something more because of the surviellance made by the mafia, and the communication to El Gordo). Paco tells him to shut up and to stop pissing him off, that he is being negative (improvising here because it's a word I'm not familiar with, but the context seems right) Mariano replies he's not, that he knows Lucas, and no one takes something that belongs to him without getting his ass kicked or shot. Paco panics and grabs his guns as well as Mariano tells him to speak with Sara.

- In comes DL asking what tie he should choose as Pepa barges in all pissed off. That's when we see the moment from the advance from last week, and it was directed to Silvia, she adds, Silvia had to inherit DL's temper as well, that not even God can take her, and ends up with "I'm not getting married anymore" to the shocked faces of DL, Paco and Mariano. She doesn't care, she's not getting married, near tears, and bursts out laughing telling them it's joke. Ending that Silvia kicked her out for her to get dressed with the men, and reaches out and grabs the garment bag with her gown she left out the door.

- Back at the precinct, Curtis goes to the interrogation room for Francesca, and is shocked to find Blackman there. They argue, Blackman tells Curtis that he and Francesca are on the way out. Curtis tells him no way. They're on the way to see a Judge for her declaration. Blackman goes on about what she's about to do and what might happen during the transportation and asks Curtis if he feels he can protect her safely. Curtis calls DL to tell him what's going on.

- Paco's turn in front of the camera: "sis, I love you. I don't know, I never imagined that you'd ever get married. Not because you like women, but because even as a little girl you have always been like a that, a free spirit, very independent, a flirt. But I am very happy you're getting married. That when you find your partner, being with someone else is a very big deal. (flashes of him and Lola happy). When you find your partner is forever. From that moment on, your life story isn't just about yourself anymore. It encompasses the story of another person, and that isn't determined by the time you're together or time itself. That truth is forever. I love you, and I love you as well cuñada. You were my sister in law before, and but you're it again" He ends up by pulling a piece of a jigsaw puzzle and reads from it, "I am Pepa, and I am six. To my brother, always." He's near tears now, and puts the piece back in his wallet. Aitor stops and he comments that it's not even the wedding and he's crying like an old lady.

- Sara then says that she never asked him anything when things ended with Lola. That she didn't ask him because she didn't understand it. That if what they had ended, then all the stories in the world would end as well. Now she gets it, and they hug.

- Paco then tells her they need to talk. At least Aitor has the sense to leave them alone.

- back at the precinct, DL asks Curtis what did Blackman say? He replies that according to Blackman, Francesca wouldn't arrive at the courthouse even if she was in a tank driven by U.S. Marines. DL advices Curtis to go with Blackman and not to step away from her.

- Pepa walks out in her wedding gown. DL, tells Pepa he understands why his daughter fell in love with her. That she's beautiful. Pepa grins and replies I have no fucking clue how to do a waltz.

- back at the cantina, Paco starts his talk to Sara about their triangle. She starts to act like the superbrat that she is. Goes one about being 21, and he can't go constantly trying to keep tabs on her life. That she doesn't judge him, so he shouldn't judge her. She asks him to let her make her choices, fuck up, fall face first. That she won't know what will happen when Lucas returns.

- They find the car, and some officers give Montoya details where the car was found and such. Pove follows with the bouquet of gladiolos. They decide not to tell anything to DL, and Pove finds the bodies as he tries to put the flowers in the trunk.

- Back at the cantina, Salgado tells Paco she came to say goodbye. Once Francesca is moved, there isn't anything left for her to do. She's heading to Brussels.

- DL teaches Pepa to waltz. She asks to switch places because she has to be the one leading Silvia in the dance. They do and start to talk. She tells DL that she likes him as her father in law. That she can see them in watching the Tour de France together, the Franch Open, and she likes his temper because he doesn't beat around the bush. He counters with some advice and tells Pepa to never leave the bottle of shampoo open. If she does, her life would be in danger. He warns Pepa of Silvia's temper (sorry, not sure how to translate that part of the conversation) and how to calm her down.

- They're interrupted by Pove to let him know about the car and the dead bodies. We see then the mafia setting things up for the hit.

- Rita has her turn in front of the camera: "Princesses, I want to tell you something, even though I don't have a lot of experience. I was left at the altar while pregant" and makes reference of Pove's twin brother, and continues. "That's when I found out life is like a game. Things look crapy, and then all of a sudden, you find someone when and where you least expect it. (flashes of Montoya and their moments together), and next you know, you have won the game. What I'm trying to say is that we are all a little odd, and in odd couples, an the unexpected. Also when you throw the bouquet I'll dive head first for it. I'm happy to see you together, and I love you." She says I'm something, but I'm unsure how to translate... sorry.

- in the cemetery, we have Curtis complaining non-stop about time being wasted, and how he has a wedding to attend. Blackman looks all strange. Curtis asks him why they're going around in circles there. Blackman replies they're enjoying the day, the peace that surrounds them, and of course, to get Francesca to the courthouse alive.

- DL is in the lab, trying to figure out what's going on. Pove is freaking out and tells DL that he's innocent. He's more than willing to take a polygraph test, and such. Montoya interrupts to say the bodies were found naken, no ID, and with their fingerprints burnt off.

- Montoya gets a phone call with an update on Francesca. Silvia walks in the lab area in her wedding gown and grabs some gloves, and tells DL not so say anything. DL says that the other med. examiner/forensics person is on the way, and they both have a wedding to attend. Silvia disagrees saying that the bodies appeared in his car, the car that would drive her to and from the wedding, and that she has a right to know what's going on.

- Montoya calls Curtis, Blackmans tells him not to pick it up. He ignores him, and answers. Montoya wants to know what's going on. Blackman tells Curtis not to say anything. Curtis again ignores him and tells MOntoya Francesca is with him. Blackman is not happy. He tells Montoya everything. Location and all. Blackman knows shit will hit the fan.

- As Pepa is getting ready, Silvia starts a preliminary exam of the bodies.

- Mariano's turn with the camera: "Hi girls, I don't know much about lesbian weddings or any kind of marriage for that matter. I went from being married with a restraining order, to being a widow before my second marriage, to being married to a superior that ended up in disaster yet again, and a lot of other things that are not relevant, but in the end, I live with Paco, both single and golden now. But Paco and I are both missing something (flashes of his love life) that you both have. We are missing a partner that will caress out foot under the comforter. I wish you the best, and the best of luck. To love each other for the rest of your lives. Really."

- Mariano then tells Aitor that he can't go to the wedding because Lucas is on the way there to surprise Sara. That under the circumstances it would be better if he stayed behind. He's sorry. Aitor looks shocked. We see a plane landing, with flashes of Sara getting ready.

- Montoya arrives at the cemetery, and starts arguing with Blackman. Montoya doesn't believe anything Blackman says and tells Curtis they're heading to the courthouse. Blackman tells him he's making a mistake. Montoya tells blackman he's coming as well. That he's under arrest and asks Curtis to read him his rights and pulls out his gun.

- Montoya's cell phones rings and Salgado tells him about an attempt made agains the detail headed to the courthouse, and how they shot two agents and such. Francesca is horrified. Looks like she's on speaker phone. She continues saying the Italian agents have disappeared, they're unsure if they 're dead or kidnapped. That Francesca, the main witness has also disappeared, but the worst was that she wasn't even with the detail headed to the courthouse. She asks MOntoya if he knows what's going on, if he could hear her, and if he knows if Francesca is with one of his men. Francesca shakes her no at Montoya. He looks all confused. He lowers his gun and tells Salgado he doesn't know where Francesca is.

- Paco walks down the stesp with Pepa.

- Blackman tells Montoya his cell phone has been compromised and dunks in a vase filled with water. He tells Curtis more than likely his cell phone is as well. Curtis dumps his phone in the vase as well. Montoya tells Curtis is headed to where the attempt took place, and tells Curtis not to move from where they are.

- Scenes between a happy Pepa with Paco, and a panicked Francesca in the cemetery with Curtis and Blackman.

- Paco sees Pove and asks him what he's doing there. That he should be on his way to pick up Silvia. He tells Paco that Silvia isn't home. She's in the lab, performing an autopsy on two bodies while in her wedding dress and all.

- Pepa overhears and doesn't look happy. She heads up the stairs to the lab in search for her bride.

- Paco sees Salgado crying and walks over to her, and asks her what she's doing there. He thought she'd be in Brussels by now. She tells him there has been a change of plans and she's on her way to Barcelona first. He says something about a vacation before taking her post there and she tells him she has been suspended. That she fucked up and now there are three dead bodies to deal with. Paco tells her to calm down, and offers his help. She declines and tells him she just needs out of there. She tells him that if he ever stops by Barcelona, to look her up and they can have the coffee he offered her. He tells her he should head there because that's where his ex is, and once there he could say hello to both of them. They share an awkward good bye again.

- Back at the cemetery, Blackman, Curtis and Francesca are on the move again. He asks for Curtis' gun. Curtis won't give it to him, to which blackman asks him if he could take down two men about to shoot them from different locations. Curtis pulls out his gun. Unsure where to shoot. Blackman takes the gun, and tells Curtis to protect the witness behind him.

- Back at the lab, Silvia is in front of her computer. Her cell phone rings. It's Pepa asking her to be on her way, and not make her wait more than 5 min. at the altar. She tells Pepa she's on her way out. To wait for her. Pepa replies she's not happy waiting, and asks Silvia if she's ok waiting, while opening the door to the lab. Silvia gets a bit mad and orders Pepa to turn around, that they're both wearing their wedding gowns.

- Pepa asks Silvia what the hell she's doing in the lab. Silvia answers that they found two dead bodies in the trunk of her father's car. Pepa replies she doesn't give a fuck where the bodies appeared and asks Silvia if she wants to change the venue to a funeral home. Silvia then tells Pepa she's blowing things out of proportion because they still have one hour.

- Pepa then argues "I'm the one blowing things out of proportion? Look, someone told me yesterday she wanted to do things right. Were you referring to this? Opening up two dead bodies while wearing your wedding gown on the day we're getting married? Is this doing things right to you?"

- Silvia replies: "I'm don't know. Why don't you tell me, since you're the expert on doing things right."

- Cut in to the Superbrats. Aitor hugs Sara, and starts to cry. They start to make out. OMG, give it a rest already. They stop, and he hands her the DVD of the video they made, and he tells Sara he's not going to the wedding.

- Back at the lab, Pepa tells Silvia that she has always heard, the bride always has something new, something old, and something blue. But she has never heard of two dead bodies in the trunk of a car. Then she says, tradition always says it's bad luck to see the bride before the ceremony, but what does it say about kissing the bride. Silvia says no, and smiles. That according to tradition, they can't touch each other the night before, but with the dress on, they just can't see each other.

- Pepa replies if that's the case, close your eyes. They both do, and start to kiss while touching each other.

- Pepa: You must be looking very beautiful, future Mrs. Miranda. Silvia: You must be looking very beautiful, future Mrs. Castro. They kiss. DL chooses that moment to walk in, and asks them if they couldn't wait for a little bit. Pepa turns around, without looking at Silvia, and says "five mins. Silvia, don't test me on that." and walks out of the lab.

- DL tells Silvia to go, everyone is waiting, and Silvia replies she has five mins.

- Back with the Superbrats, Aitor starts to get his stuff out of Sara's closet, while she asks him what's going on. He tells her he's leaving. Everything is over. She's asking him why, that's they had eleven days to live their lives, and it's only been eight. Aitor is in tears tell her he can't just sit around waiting for it all to end and blow up in his face. He can't stay where he doesn't belong. She tells him he belongs there. (My God, can she be more selfish????) As she argues, he replies that if they go to the wedding together, something bad will happen. That she dreamed it. Flashes of the shooting and such.

- Her reply is that she doesn't give a damn what can happen. The last wedding she was in, she got shot. That nothing worst than that could happen, as long as he is with her. (Talk about foreshadowing of bad things...) He then tells her that if he goes to the wedding with Sara, there is no turning back. Sara says she'll go with him.

- As she says that, two of the mafiosos kill some agents asigned to protect everyone at the wedding. At the cemetery, one of the fake Italian agents tells Blackman to drop the gun, he refuses just as the other bad guy shows up.

- Back at the lab, DL is rushing Silvia, and she speculates that perhaps the bodies were already in the car before it was stole because of the how long the blood of the dead bodies had been clotted. DL asks her to stop being so obsessed with work, and to go get married. She smiles and walks out. Leaving her cell phone behind, as it rings. Her voice mails picks up and she gets a message with DNA results that confirms the ID of the two dead bodies as Italian agents and he's faxing over all the info. We see a flashback of Montoya asking why he wasn't informed about the Italian agents as 'one' of them replies they're there to escort Francesca.

- We cut to the cemetery, as one of the bad guys demand they hand over Francesca. They shoot blackman, he kills them both. Looks like the bullen didn't hurt him.

- In the garage, Pove is trying to scrub DL's trunk clean we see Salgado get into her car. Paco gets in and starts to talk about what their situation. How just days before she told him she was falling in love with him, just like that, without going out for coffee, or a date, or a movie, and how she's Mariano's ex, how they haven't even signed their divorce papers, and now she's leaving. He asks her why. Why is she doing that to him. She replies she doesn't know. She doesn't know how, when or why. She only knows that's what she feels. Paco gives her a peck on the lips and asks Salgado to be his date for the wedding. She agrees, and they start to make out, while Mariano looks on from the garage, shocked.

- LUcas calls and interrupts. Pove tells Mariano he found teeth in the trunk. Paco tells Lucas to rent a car and to head over to the wedding and gives him directions.

- Bad guys give an update to El Gordo. One of them starts to freak out. Things are getting complicated. El Gordo starts to give a little speech how the Italian Mafia is always on top because for each strick given by the police of a judge, they return it 100 fold. IN other words, he will kill everyone.

- In the wedding, everybody is clueless. Pepa looks ecstatic, as does most everyone else. Paco and Salgado are happy, Mariano looks shocked and sad. Montoya takes Rita's hand, Pove looks sad.

- As Silvia walks towards Pepa, we her her monologue: "They say falling in love is an involuntary act, a reflex, like having fear. I was a fearless girl. Ghosts didn't scare me. Neither did monsters, nor the dark. I could look under the bed, sure there would be no skeletons and no vampires. I could stand up to older kids, sure they wouldn't take my lunch away. I have been that way all my life. Sure that I could grab my gun  and empty it in back alley full of bad guys because that's not what scares me. What truly scares me is to say yes to something I cannot change tomorrow. Choosing a couch, or talking about mortage, or a 'we need to talk this afternoon' or choosing a school, or to choose a place to retire when we're old. And then suddenly, all that fear is gone and you beging to enjoy that feeling like the loops in a roller coaster. And that is what happiness is."

- They both look gorgeous and so much in love.

- The bad guys are planning their ambush. They the cables of the cell towers and such.

- The ceremony begings. Both girls are holding hands. Images of the ceremony are interspaced with the bad guys.

- Our girls exchange rings and vows and say their "I do's" to each other. Our girls are married. They kiss. Everyone is cheering and happy.

- a car arrives to the wedding area. The bad guys posing as guards, ask for ID, It's Lucas, an agent for CNI. They inform El Gordo and they let him through.

End of ep. scenes of next exp. Argh!!!!!!!!!!!!! they show Silvia getting shot!!!!!!!!
