Stuff
So...
I haven't written in a while, and I figured I'd give this journal some type-love. That, and I don't have much to at work right now, and I really don't want to get any homework done at this moment, particularly because that would require either one of two things: a)reading something by Benjamin Franklin, or b)reading book 22 of Livy's history of Rome. Both of which are incredibly mundane and boring. So.... fuck it. And here I am.
The past week has been pretty cool. I didn't have to work on Monday because it was Columbus Day. I enjoyed that, despite the fact that Columbus did kill a complete race of "Indians" by way of horrible mistreatment, slavery, disease and missionaries. The only true completed genocide in all of history. Anyway, I got a good grade on my art history midterm (88%), especially for not studying or really paying attention is class. Love the subject, hate the professor. It sounds like her voice is going to die at any moment, she's boring, and she says "here" at the end of each sentence.
Anyway, movie night was fun, and then last night, I was so happy for Augie, getting together with Sarah and dating her and having his first kiss at age 20. Basically, I'm really happy for those two. It was nice seeing Augie truly happy for the first time, well, ever. I was also pretty happy because I was slightly inebriated, and so were the other five people at my place last night, and it was hella funny seeing Daniel THAT drunk. I had to help him to the bathroom just to take a piss. That's love.
And, yeah. Bridge School is about a week away. It will be most awesome.
