I was parousing the myspace, looking at people's pictures and such. And I saw a photograph. The photo was of a girl standing in front of what was obviously a memorial wall of those who had fallen in battle. Names listed with their ranks, ages, and hometowns. The picture itself wasn't the issue; it was the comments listed below the obviously stoic and mornful picture which cause me to feel such revoltion and heartache. Things were said along the lines of "OMG you look like a model" or "cool pic" or "you look so great in this picture!" They didn't even take notice of how the wall represented the pain and anguish of death, and how despicable and aweful war is. I don't even think the person in the picture realized what the wall behind her meant.
It really made me want to burst into tears.
