Slow Ride
The past few days have been, how you say, interesting et très etrange. I was finally able to buy Daniel's gift, with the assistance of his mother on Thursday evening. Given, it was $50 more dollars than I expected it to be, but whatever. He's worth it. Most definately.
Saturday, I went to the DMV to get my California ID card so as I wouldn't have to bring a shit load of identification with me when I go on the plane to Florida. That wasn't at all fun, however, it went by quickly, surprisingly. Then, me and my mom went to Sear's where I tried these kick ass cowboy boots, and my mom bought them for me as a Chirstmas present, which is now wrapped up at my Grandma's house. Yup. Pretty lame. At least I got all the picture frames I needed for other people's gifts.
Sunday, the craziest thing ever happened. First, I'll say it in French because it sounds cool. J'ai mis le feu au four. That's right, I set the oven on fire. It's not the first time the oven's had problems, or caught on fire for that matter. Oh how I hate electric ovens. However, my mom still doesn't want to get a new oven. She's a smart one. Anyway, the fire was purely accidental. Somehow, grease always got on the bottom of the oven and the broiler went on when it wasn't supposed to and yeah. It happened like that before I even put the food in. Dry fire-extinguisher chemical dust was all over the house, but we laughed about it. At least me and Shawna did. Mom wasn't too pleased. Maybe she'll finally buy a new oven. Honkey white bitch.
Yesterday was pretty cool, not much happened. Went to Daniel's house and had a grand old time watching "A Christmas Story" since I hadn't seen it before. One of my cats also peed on my fresh clean laundry. He didn't come in last night, to say the least. Today, I took my AP physics test, I finished taking my neon light pictures for photo class, and had kick ass chinese food with Daniel. He and Augie finally sold that XBox they bought, and I might be able to get their band a show, opening for a kick ass band that's on tour right now, but that's if Kale come through on his promise, which he better. Punk ass.
