IT'S THAT TIME AGAIN
As is already obvious, I like doing various kinds of relationship posts. This one's a bit different than what I've done in the past; I'm only going to be listing the characters that she has tl;dr relationships with. If your character is one of the many, many people who her opinion of boils down to "she greatly dislikes them", "she thinks they're okay and doesn't mind talking to them, but she has no real strong feelings either way", or something else equally simplistic, then I'm leaving them off; sorry!

{ THE DOCTOR - FIVE }

THE DOCTOR - TEN
This relationship is sort of a strange one, because Azula doesn't talk to Ten very often and they don't really know each other that well. She can tell he doesn't really like her much, which kind of makes her go "8|" because of the way she clicked with Five, but ultimately she's reconciled with the idea that they're essentially different people who just happen to share the same backstory and a lot of the same memories. Still, she can't resist bugging him every once in a while in his posts, and they've actually had a few decent conversations that she got something positive out of. She likes him.
KAITO KUROBA
Guy she very much dislikes and is incredibly annoyed by, yet is still somehow jealous that he's moved on to trying to help Minatsuki instead of her; add more later
LILITH SAHL
Azula adores Lilith, to the point of reverence. Of course, she doesn't mindlessly idolize her or anything; there are definitely things about her that she recognizes as weaknesses or shortcomings-- but overall, she just thinks she's amazing. The fact that they're both working towards a common goal (i.e. taking down Cain/01) does a lot to propagate that. But even off the battlefield, she still thinks she's awesome, and she loves hanging around with her. Lilith has a lot of the traits that Azula values in her mommy figures: she's smart, she's wise, she's strong (both physically and emotionally), she's respectful, and she's nice to her in a non- fakey, non-cutesy sort of way. Basically, Azula almost has a girlcrush on her (though she has absolutely no sexual feelings for her at all, and would be quite grossed out if someone got the impression that she did). She wants to please her and impress her and doesn't want to disappoint her; she thinks she's beautiful and regal and an excellent fighter and she wants to be her BFF foreverrrrr. The end.
{ LISA CUDDY }
Cuddy is Azula's Most Important Person, and her adoptive mother. Despite the fact that they kind of got off to a rocky start (Azula disliked her for about a year after they first met), she loves her a lot, and the feeling is mutual. They're very protective of each other (which is often a point of contention because they're both stubborn and hot-headed), and Cuddy is the one person that Azula is willing to hold back from a fight for-- she's already promised not to antagonize or go after the Joker again, and she intends to stick to that. They've been living together for well over a year now, and Azula lets Cuddy do all the typical mom things-- take her places, spoil her, comfort her when she's sad, etc. She even lets Cuddy tell her what to do, out of respect for her household-- though if it's something she really wants, she'll often find a way around it.

Biological dad who was more like a live-in 24-hour trainer than an actual father; pushed her to be "the best" and is a large part of why she is the way she is today; Azula worshiped him and was desperate for his approval, and for a long time he was the only person she really respected/thought was as "worthy" as she was herself; completely blindsided and shattered when he betrayed her and she still struggles with that a lot, though it's opened her up to forming actual healthy relationships with other people; add more later

ZUKO
Was jealous of/infuriated by/confused by his connection with their mom when he was really little, which drove her to seek her father's approval even more; is the most prominent scapegoat in her life; sees him as the representation of anything and everything that goes wrong for her; add more later
