[Guess who got sprayed with the hydrochloric acid? That's right, THIS GUY. Housemates, he's currently only wearing pants and tending to some very nasty burns on his arms and chest, the phone balanced in the crook of his neck; he wasn't quick enough in ripping off his shirt before the stuff bled through.]

[his own is strained, tight, and not just from the pain; he senses that he just came very close to death. Him.]

Have you received a turkey?

Yes. [naturally, she hasn't touched it; she does not care in the slightest for this distasteful holiday.] ...You don't sound well.

I was sprayed with some unfamiliar poisons upon contact - powerful ones, as they caused severe burns even after seeping through my shirt.

[burning poison. she gives a quiet choked sound, and in it is a ring of utter familiarity.]

Can anyone else in the house identify them?

I will ask, but....[rustling] I would rather not move more than is necessary. I assume it was some kind of modern concoction?

...I know how to treat them. Burns. So as soon as I can get back... [ . . . ] It wasn't my intention to be here today. [stupid Mayfield]

No need to make the trouble, nor the hurry.

I am not going anywhere, after all.

[there is nothing she can do while trapped in her own household except to provide information. because her brother can't possibly name whatever it is, she begins asking questions.] Has the burning stopped? Some of these poisons will continue to wear away at you if not treated correctly.

No. I have applied a damp compress, but it doesn't seem to have helped....also, if it means anything, my shirt stinks of the poison.

lotuslife November 27 2010, 08:22:34 UTC
[she frowns.] Does it burn through the compress?

Yes.
