I watched Donnie Darko today. Never seen it before. I liked it. A lot.
I'm still jobless. No one is hiring for entry positions it seems. So, I'm going to apply for financial aid and take my ass down to The Portfolio Center and sign up for classes. A stronger portfolio, I need.
Sorry, to much Star Wars in the background. I swear if my husband didn't have a secret love for the nerd masterpiece, I would seriously be worried that I was married to a 40 year old woman.
Have I ever told you that he loves Sleepless in Seattle, When Harry Met Sally, Story of Us, and You Got Mail? Yeah... I hate those movies. He almost cried when I told him that.
Blindness (the motion picture) comes out this weekend. The book was very hard for me to read - in the context sense. The downfall of society and the horrors of the human condition are things that really excite me as a topic of discussion, but frighten me in their realism. Did that make any sense?
Well, I'm writing a book. We'll see how it goes. I've got 13 pages so far. I have to say, of all my idea notebooks stuffed with random ideas and dreams, this is the only time I've actually committed time to writing. I'm excited about it.
I'm keeping myself active. I find myself being driven crazy if I stall and lose time to idleness.
Politics is proving to be something I find great humor in now a days. Sometimes when I'm watching the news, I can't help but wonder if CNN is actually broadcasting some ludicrous sitcom. Can these people be real? /shakes head/
