Happy Independence Day!!!!
I just got back from setting off tons of illegal fireworks. Yay! Once I get a chance, maybe I'll post some of the pics I got. We pretty much go nuts every year. Though... I think we went a wee bit overboard either last year or the year before. We ended up spending like $400-$500 on fireworks. 0.o We kept it down to $300 this year. Oh the temptation to just buy everything... It's like a kid in a candy store when we go.
In other happenings... Went and saw: Live Free or Die Hard, Monday. Good movie. Lots of action and things blowing up. Not to mention it had Bruce Willis, who has always been a fav. When we went to go see Die Hard, the theater had signs up that they were having a special screening of Transformers running Monday night at 8 and 8:15. When we got out of Die Hard, we went to see if they still had tickets, and they did! So we went and saw Transformers that night. Good god it was awesome! And then Tuesday we went and saw it again because two of our friends couldn't go Monday. YOU MUST GO SEE THIS MOVIE!!!!
Oh, and fuck you, all you stupid reviewers and whatnot saying it sucks. Giving Fantastic Four 2 more stars than Transformers. What kind of shitty crack are you guys on when you write these reviews?!? Bah.
And one more thing. I am desperately looking for someone to beta/look over the first chapter of this FMA fic I'm working on. I really need someone familiar with the series to check it out. If anybody can help, I would be SO grateful! I like the idea for this fic, and I think it's got a pretty good plot. Somewhat AU-ish, but... not. -_-;;;; Same characters, same setting, different circumstances. It's hard to explain without giving away the plot. Someone to just talk to and bounce ideas off of would be nice too. Help me!
