Another Friday Update!
So, I'm in Shaw between classes again, once again not doing homework. I really should be working on CSE stuff since I skipped class on Thursday, shhh. Oh well, it will get done eventually. Anyways, things have been going pretty good lately. Last weekend I went to Cincinnati for my grandparents' 50th wedding anniversary party. I had a ton of fun and it was so nice to see all of my relatives again. I can't believe how old all of my cousins are getting! The older onces are now 16 and were acting like your typical teenage boys, to which my response was "no, you're still 12!" haha. It's weird to see them so much more mature when I don't get to see them all that often. Gabe is so adorable too! He's about 5 months old now and such a good baby! I didn't hear him fuss once all day on Saturday. I wish we lived closer so that I could see him more often. It was also nice to get away from campus for a weekend. Don't get me wrong, I love being here, but sometimes you just need to get away for a change of scenery, ya know? We didn't come back back from Cincy until Monday either, so I skipped all of my classes on Monday :P I don't think it hurt me too bad, but I am playing catch up a little bit.
Last night I went to Capitol Villa to watch Grey's Anatomy with the holmes crew, par usual on Thursday nights. After the show, we had a dance party, and Neeta was trying to teach us how to Bhangra. It was so much fun, even if I am white and suck at it! haha. This weekend I don't have too many plans. Going to the football game tomorrow... hopefully we don't get completely killed. It would be nice to not witness a stomping for once. Tomorrow night I'm going to see Accapaluza with Whit and Madhu. I love accapella singing! I hope they throw in a Christmas song or two, even if it is a bit early. Although, it has been flurying for the past couple of days, so I think christmas carols are allowed with snow in the air, hehe.
There are less than 3 weeks until Thanksgiving now! That's just crazy, and also makes me really happy. I have a lot do do before then, and when it's over that means only 2 more weeks until finals, but I still welcome the upcoming 4 day weekend. Anywho, I suppose I will get to some homework for the next little while that I'm here... Have a good weekend all!
