These posts are becoming more and more spaced out...
I haven't updated in forever! I've been so busy this semester it's crazy. I hardly ever even think about updating anymore! Anyways, these past few weeks haven't been too bad. I had a biochem exam which I more or less bombed... but, the class will be curved and I have 3 more chances to bring up my grade. I've watched the spartans choke in two football games... I'll tell you what, being a spartan fan sure does teach you how to take dissapointment well. My parents also came up last weekend, not for the game, but just to see my apartment since my mom hadn't seen it yet. It was nice to see them. We did the whole go out to lunch and grocery shopping, and mooch off your parents deal :P I talked to my mom on the phone yesterday and she told me that Adam got all moved into his new apartment this past weekend. It's weird to think that my brother will probably never stay at our house for an extended period of time again. I'm excited to see his new place though! Unfortunetely, I don't think I'll be going home until thanksgiving, except for a few hours before I head to Cincinnati at the end of this month. I really do want to go home though. It would be nice to see my family and all that, as well as the new valence that my mom bought for my room, haha. But between home football games and other events, I really dont have many free weekends. Oh well, I'm having fun here, even with my busy class/work schedule. I keep slowly learning how to do more and more things at work, so hopefully they'll let me do some research next semester. That is if I don't die from my 25+ hours of work a week biochem lab that I'll be taking. I suppose junior year is the crunch year though, eh?
In other news, I'm currently hooked on the fort minor song "Remember the name" Why, i'm not quite sure, lol. I was singing it today and frankie made fun of my whitness :( She even said that I'm more white than leah! Haha. In total contrast to that, I think i'm becoming more nerdy on a day to day basis... After someone's comment about how our umbrella's could be lightning rods today I said that they probably wouldn't be because they're made of aluminum and that's not a very good conducter. Sometimes I amaze even myself with my nerdy comments, hehe. Oh well, I'd rather be a nerd than a bum I suppose.
My brother is going to be here thurs-fri for the career fair. He's going to be interviewing/recruiting for flagstar, so if any of you reading this are business majors, go to the flagstar table at the career fair thursday afternoon and you can talk to my brother! He's going to try and stop by here to see my place and perhaps get some dinner or something thursday night, so that should be fun. Keeping on the subject of relatives, yesterday I got an email saying that Valerie Rost had added me as a facebook friend and I was completely perplexed as to why my mom would have a facebook until I looked at the picture and realized it wasn't my mom. I then remembered that I have a second cousin named Valerie Rost that I haven't seen in about 10 years, weird. But also kinda cool.
Anyways, I think I'm about running out of things to say, which is probably why I hardly ever update this thing anymore. I would put up a random question of the ambiguous time frame, but I'm not feeling too creative tonight. Perhaps you can suggest some instead. Have a good rest of the week everyone!
