I am now officially back up at MSU. I moved into my apartment yesterday and so far so good. Although, I was alone in the apartment for a good 8 hours yesterday before christina got here and I realized that i would never want to live alone. Even with all the unpacking I did, I got quite bored by 6, haha. Anyways, it's weird to be at school but not in the dorms. I love all the extra space, but it's weird to not see doors open down the hall and have all the campus provided stuff. And cook for myself, crazy.
Today I had a very productive first full day back if I do say so myself. I went swimming this morning and it felt soooo good to be back in the water. I swam what I normally do when I do laps, but it took me a bit longer than usual. I'm out of shape for sure. I'm planning on going every day that they're open before school starts, so hopefully that will change soon. After swimming I went to the computer center and got updated virus protection, which is making me feel much better about being online, since my norton expired a year and a half ago, oops. Came back to the apartment for lunch and to chill a bit, then I applied for 2 more lab jobs online. Then I went to the bank and fixed my debit card issues and applied for jobs at ned's bookstore and beaners. I've now applied for 5 lab jobs and 3 other jobs. I really hope I get hired somewhere soon, preferably at a lab, because I hate job hunting... I guess more of that is on the agenda for tomorrow though, *sigh*. After job hunting I went to the mall with christina for a bit cuz she needed to look for work clothes, and then she dropped me off at bennigan's where I met lauren that I worked with this summer for dinner. Which just about brings me to now. Busy day, I know.
Anyways, other than job hunting and a few errands here and there I don't really have much planned until classes start in a couple of weeks. That being said, if you are in East Lansing, give me a call because I'd love to see you! I guess i'm gonna go find something else to occupy my time for now. Hasta!
