(no subject)
We went to skate world today with playground, and that's another one of those fieldtrips where us leaders pretty much just sit around and talk while the kids go have fun. I did skate a bit inbetween the talking too. I love those field trips, heck yes for getting paid to sit around. I get to do that again on tuesday when we go to the wavepool again for winning the sportsmanship/best behaviour type award at the tack meet. Woohoo lazy river. I also really like the people I work with this year, and next summer when I will more than likely stay in east lansing I will be really sad when I don't get to go back to Willow Woods and play dodgeball. Ya start to get to know they kids and staff after two summers in a row with most of the same people, ya know? Some of the kids are so funny and we have given four of them nicknames including gus gus, santa clause, girl from final destination 3, and lucy (from narnia). I would explain, but it won't make any sense if you don't know them. Anywho, we also got gifts from one of the mom's as an end of the summer type deal even though there are still 2 weeks left. All of us girls got one of those cool magnetic bracelet/necklace things and a small nalgene. I love gifts! :P
In other news, I have some weird summer sickness type deal. Yesterday I felt like complete crap and was all achey and whatnot. I feel a lot better today, but I still have weird red bumbs in my throat that are quite painful, and i'm more exhausted than usual. I've concluded that it must be some sort of virus because it already seems to be getting better and I don't have a fever or anything. Oh well, I shall live. Other than that, not a whole lot has been going on. I've been incredibly busy, especially on weekends, much of which inovolves family things. Last weekend we went to Cincinnati and much fun and craziness was had, par usual with that group of goofs. It amazes me how quickly the summer has been flying by, espcially with its extremely slow start. I can move into our apartment in 11 days if I so chose! Alright, well I'm sure you are thoroughly bored of hearing about my recent life and I am getting tired again anyways, so I think i'm gonna go veg out. Hasta!
