The rebuilding of Ishval is such a touching plot key, and the way you represented it here was just beautiful, beautiful and subtle and hopeful. Well done.

Wow, this was so amazing. I love all the little details, especially the parts about the rebuilding of Ishval. It inspires hope, not only for Ishval but also for Roy and Riza, that they are on their way to achieving their goal.

In Ishval they have already rebuilt the sanctuary of the Great Temple, the twelve lamps burning through the night again and incense rising in the heat of the day. She didn't cross the threshold. If their God really does walk among the pillars there Riza isn't sure how interested it would be in her prayers. OMG THIS PART. TEARS EVERYWHERE. ;-;

OMG. Hahaha I feel like nothing I can say about this will properly capture MY FACE as I read it.

This is so so beautiful and quiet and hopeful AND SEXY. It might not be plotty but it is so meaningful and moving. You manage to communicate SO MUCH about Ishval and them and the future that the Ishvalans are trying to build and that Roy and Riza want to enable and protect, it's stunning.

Did I also mention that this is super amazingly hot?

WHERE DID THIS COME FROM? FROM MY DREAMS, I THINK.

Anyway, thank you so much! Hah, I just felt rather silly for having written a nigh-PWP but with Eliot and theology, AS ONE DOES. And I'm glad you thought it was hot! After a certain amount of time staring at a fic I sometimes can't tell anymore.
