land of the orioles
I'm in a fancy ass hotel in Baltimore for a seminar on fundraising. The nuns payed for the trip so its really of no cost to me. Plus I got to see Kirsten as part of the deal.thank you nuns!
Anyway the seminar is a drag. Today all 50 of us sat in rows of 6 in a tiny room. No table so we balanced a monster book on our laps. (think the size of the speech books at westminster). They told us that we'll actually be in a room with tables tomorrow.
I ventured over to inner harbor after the last session today. Of course it started to rain so my exploration was cut short. Now it's sunny but I'm not in the mood to venture out. There was a homeless guy sitting on a bench wearing full army gear and muttering to himself. Every few minutes he'd jump up and yell "I'm going to get you" then he'd sit back down and start rocking back and forth.
I fly home tomorrow.
