At the QuikTrip, $7.01 will buy you a cooler that is too small for my second-largest pot, and a bag of indestructible ice. Since the cooler was too small, I ladled what I could into a few ziploc bags, and put the bags in with the ice. I don't have a rice cooker, so I don't know how it might be different, but cooking rice in stock is a good use.

Freeze it (if you've got room) for soup.

Lots of stir-fry sauces use a tablespoon or two, if you want to freeze some in ice-cube-tray-sized pieces.
