Hey Hey Hey peeps, it's been a while!
Haha!
So, my week went ok, I guess. I turned in my performance review on Tuesday, and I rather expected to get my sit-down review on Wednesday. But, then I did the math, and realized that I shouldn't get it until June. This leads me to wonder why they asked me to fill out that form over a month in advance. Weirdoes. Just as well.
Speaking of work, I realized that yesterday was the last day for my fabulous co-worker Katie. She's a real artist type that is taking a job teaching photography at some art school for kids, I think. She's just so sweet. I shall miss her fabulosity. But, to make up for that, I have SATC season five, (I think) waiting for me at work. So that's cool. I had an interesting evening last night with Dan and his friend Andrew. My mom gave me money to give to Dan for his birthday. But Dan, true to form for any member of my family, wouldn’t' accept it. So, I had to either sneak it to him, or take him out to dinner. For some reason, if we won't take money, you can always take us to dinner. My family is weird like that. Anyway, I finally took him out to, his choice, a little mom and pop pizza place in Waterford Lakes. Papa Joes or something, I think. I probably would have picked someplace a little nicer, but he had invited his friend Andrew, so I guess he wanted to keep it a little more cheap. Besides, I suppose he just doesn't care as much for nicer places.
So, after dinner, we're driving away, and we see this band of middle school girls dressed like hootchie mamas. So, of course, this amuses Dan and Andrew to no end. They thought about throwing Dan's leftovers at them, but I'm kinda glad they didn't. Instead, on the way home, they threw pennies at people we passed by on the sidewalk. When I write it out, it isn't so funny, but I sure cracked up laughing when they were doing it. I guess because it's so absurd! A drive-by pennying? I sure don’t' know. It sure was funny though.
After that we went back to Dan's place to watch some of the Chappelle show on DVD. They wanted to show me this one song that the two of them sang at dinner, but we couldn't find it. A pity.
And then I went home.
Tonight I'm going to go see Troy on a friend-date. Hopefully that will go well. I think that's about it.
Be fabalus everyone!
