Haha, I have also been reading all six Cloud Road fics on AO3. I like "Stonesight", and while I'm not sure the Stone in "Azure's Consort" is the way I'd imagine young Stone, I am going to have a hell of a time imagining Azure as anything other than a bright, dangerous red. :P That author is very good at picking exactly the bits the Wells leaves out of the books that we really want to read. Though someone still needs to tell me how Cloud got stolen...
Peggy was definitely a queen. :P All the sciencey-types should be Arbora, either mentors or teachers, since I think those are the two who are the artisans and healers, but I am still undecided on how to portray's Steve's jump from wee little dude to big badass dude.Bringing in the intentional transformation from Marvel universe to Rakusra universe was one I hadn't thought of. I'd considered him being a young consort (protected and small and not too magical) and then becoming an old consort (bigger! old like modern Steve!) and maybe trapping him for that transformation somewhere. Or like Chime -- from arbora to warrior. So maaaany possibilities.
