2. I am SUPER INTRIGUED by that preview already, man. It's only five episodes in and I already ship Korra/Bolin like burning.
3. Hee. Yes, the castle is what did it-- plus I haven't seen Highlander, except for about half of the first episode.

1. Longshot! I'd forgotten about him, but no, it is not A:tLA. The major giveaway is about 2 mm below the crop, conveniently. Though your first guess may be relevant to a later picture. :)
2. I know! She's beautiful, he's gorgeous, right? Sadly, I think Avatar has gone a little more traditional with the romantic character roles, but that doesn't mean I don't know who I'd pick. :D
3. When it comes to Highlander, just watch the Methos episodes. If you ever need it, I'll give you a list. Also, a reading list. I can do that too. :P

2. I am crossing my fingers that they'll decide to buck the trend, but yeah, you're probably right. If nothing else, though, they're at least dealing with the romance in a sane and grown-up way, which I really, really appreciate. (And I could probably also be persuaded to like Bolin/Asami, so really, it's all good.)

For me it was both. Peasants couldn't read, so a sign with some beer and an arrow pointing, just makes sense in my head... coupled with the running joke of Merlin is always in the tavern. :p
