OMG. I.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This may have to be my new canon for Morgana. I.....somehow managed to power through series 2, which in retrospect was really just blind hope, but yeah. They could have done awesome things with Morgana, and instead evil/crazy were her only options.
But this story! This beautiful, beautiful, epic amazing story! I was SO SAD where Bear died, like, really. Because I'd figured he was a prince/someone in disguise, but then maybe he was just a bear, except he was dead, and that was sad. So I'm glad to know he was just tranformed back into himself. And SO MAYBE LOLs over Morgana is horribly small, hairless, and bony - very ugly. HA! Seriously awesome.
I also love your lovely drawing. Morgana's face and the flowers/twigs in her hair! Oh, and I love how she becomes the crazy witch in the woods without knowing it and when she realizes is angsty about it. Oh my heart.
Yes! I was so rooting for her. Making our own personal canon is now our best hope, I think. :)
Thank you. I'm not sure I would ever have been able to pull off writing it, but imagining the epic is so much fun. I especially like all the different points of view the story offered. The funniest were the parts with Bear, including what will happen when human!Bear notices that Morgana is gorgeous. And also terrifying. And then there were the more serious -- how Morgana looks to herself after a year on her own, how she looks to her old friends, and how she thinks she looks to her friends. Oh, Morgana! So proud. I think my favorite scene if this were written, would turn out to be the one where human!Bear compares notes with Arthur and Merlin re: Morgana.
Well, the story may never be written, but the summary is pretty great, and I love the artwork. Morgana is lovely & imperious and Bear looks truly put-upon (although it sounds like he isn't, really, in the story, so apparently he's a good faker).
Thanks. It was the kind of adventure I really wanted to see her starring in, with plenty of my favorite cliche -- the shocking reveal! Hence, Bear the good faker. :)

That's also pretty much why I never watched past season 1 of Merlin, although my reasons were less well thought out and more instinctive aversion.
