I love your Charles - he's so friendly, I want to give him a hug. And your Erik has this wonderful prickly outside and slightly squishy inside.

The characterizations you've given them here are absolutely perfect: Charles as a force of good-hearted nature and being sort of oblivious about it, and Erik being all spiky and wary but with that streak of evil, evil humor shining through. I love it. Can't wait for more!
