(The thing is, this show is like an anachronistic tumor with the world-building skills of SGA writers with head injuries. Severe head injuries. Luckily, it's also made out of puppies -- beautiful, wounded puppies of destiny -- and it screams for fic so loudly that even I'm leaning away from the screen, saying, "Whoa, guys, could you tone it down a bit?" So. Obviously I'm sunk.)
