So I haven't updated in a few weeks...lol, it's Saturday, I have nothing better to do, I guess I'll entertain myself by talking about what's been going on in my oh so exciting life...
Everything's been pretty standard, no reason to really repeat any of it, the people that have been around me know what I've been up to, lol. No reason to write about it in a LiveJournal when either the people already know what's going on, so this is just really bad DeJaVu, or people who barely know me, or don't have the time to ask me outside of this Journal come here to get first-hand gossip on what I've been up to. So I have almost came to the conclusion that LiveJournal's are relatively pointless, yet I write, I'm writing in it as we speak, does that one make me a hypocrite? I don't know.
I promise I'll have a big update as soon as we get out for Summer Vacation. Obviously this summer will be awesome! It'll be the last for some of us, should be interesting. There wont be Work Camp, there is a possibility that there wont be Bay Area Week as well, now tell me this? What am I suppose to do this summer? First off you have a bunch of people at church, unresponsible people at church, who have no way of directing our Youth Program. What do they tell us? You kids, come up with some ideas, we'll work on getting you a Youth Group Minister...okay, whatever you guys say. But no, at the same time I'd have to admit, Lance did an awesome job when it came to things like summer, he was always so...in power, always could plan this or this and it'd keep us entertained, and he knew what it would take to keep us busy, because hey, it could always be better than being with people 'of the world,' right?
You talk too much, they scream, you set up for U-Turn, with our beat up materials, practically no budget in mind, and you wonder why only 40 people (not just Youth, but parents, children, when U-Turn was 'built' for us teens, not open for the whole church to invade) bother to show up to such an extravaganza...Luke was right, it's time to retire it, before everyone just loses reason all together. Some don't even bother going as is, it makes us feel a lot better, knowing that we're the only one's tough enough to make it through the slump, because I still know that one day, things'll be brighter...
Lol, well I didn't have the intension of writing this much, I guess when you want your voice to be heard, without speaking it allowed, LiveJournal's do come in handy I guess. Now as I wait for my dad's inbox to fill about kids who found this somewhat intollerable, I'll go, but just for now...
Love,
Jon
