Xmas hols, the story so far...
Xmas Eve to Holiday Tuesday

Stayed with my parents and brother in Currie. The presents I got weren't that spectacular: a new shirt and tie, chocolates and biscuits, a mug, the PS2 game The Warriors and a radio control flying saucer. Basically ate my parents' food and did an awful lot of nothing in particular.
Wednesday
=========
Went out in the evening to meet London Pagan Network lot casparian, sparkx and Kev who came through from London. We went to the Standing Order and then to the Tron where Ali (bright1) was waiting. I was probably the oldest person in the place (apart from maybe the bouncers, as Ali pointed out)!
We then went to a couple of the gay clubs near the Playhouse, where some 50 year old guy (yikes!) tried to chat me up at the bar.
Nice to meet the London lot though and put some faces to names (or rather prescences to names, since I've already seen photos of them).

Didn't really do that much - reading, watching TV, going online, playing games etc.
Friday
======
Went to check out the George Street party. I loved the silver dinosaur things that were walking round (I presume they were people in some kind of stilt-based costume). Couldn't see much else though due to the crowds, so I just left after a while to go home and be bored once more.
Today
=====
Went shopping for food as most of the shops will be closed tomorrow and Monday. It really annoys me... why have two days in a row where there is absolutely nothing to do apart from stay at home and be miserable at the prospect of having to go back to work again? Also, some strange guy who was about 50 years old decided to pounce into my path and ask me something that I didn't get but was quite threatening in tone and ended with "my country?" Excuse the fuck me!?!?!?!?!? He had an English accent in case anyone is curious - not that I have anything against English people, but it seems that he has come up to Scotland during Hogmanay just to pick a fight with a Scot! (and yeah, I appreciate the irony that I'm not even Scottish by birth anyway)! What a sad, pathetic, bigoted, aggressive, brainless fucking cunt!!!!!!
Oh well... later on I will be heading out for New Year's Eve celes. Dunno where I'm going yet though.
