So yeah. Things that are new...
1) Got Ubuntu (Dapper Drake) installed on my PC.
2) Need to sell the PC to farley ASAP, for money for reasons stated below.
3) I need new prothane motor mounts, my old ones are shitting out and you can feel it. It feels like my drivetrain is falling apart. I am scared to drive my car like this.
4) I need a grounding kit bad. There is no way that everything is fully grounded off of a block > chassis > battery ground, and a intake manifold > wiring harness ground. I feel there is a LOT to be gained from a grounding kit. Not talking about power, talking about drivability, gas mileage, peace of mind etc.
5) Speaking of electrical problems, whatever battery I throw in is randomly crapping out on me without warning. Time to tighten up that squeaky alternator belt and hope for the best. If not, bad alternator. $$$
6) I am making money a lot of money, but I am also working 42-48 hour weeks. I don't want to work that much. I will probably work for another week and see where I am at. Work is tiring, but bleh, we'll see.
7) My ibooks CD drive is kaput, and as such I cannot do the things on it that I want to do. This is frusterating.
8) Frustration from: non-working ibook, car that keeps spitting problems at me, no love life, no money, what feels like no real free time, is all piling up on me. I know it will be gone at 3:00 tomorrow when I get out from work and get free cranberry juice from the cafe.
This just in. My mother is up here chatting with her new found fuck, Frank (yes it bothers me but I try to make the best of it), she comes over and is like "you missed out on italian sandwiches todaaay!" in a lilting/upbeat/neenerneener voice (i love italian sandwiches). I respond with "you never invited me to have italian sandwiches." Silence. Really sad and seemingly mocking voice "I'm sooooorrry."
Fuck you.
I feel depressed. The only difference between now and a few days ago is the new job. I cannot tell if the job will get better eventually, or if I am just telling myself that so that I will go to work every day.
I think I inharited my fathers depression gene. I just hope it doesn't develop. I will go to bed with great sadness, wake up with great tiredness, go to work with great perserverence, arrive at work with great tiredness, work with great blahness, get out of work with great happiness, go home with great relief, spend 5 hours doing great nothingness, and go to bed with great sadness.
Frank just left, but before he left he said up the stairs to me "Im saying goodbye Luke, and thanks for your time, thanks for sharing your mother with me." Kind of weird, but at the same time it kinda made me feel better. He's really not that bad, I just haven't given him the chance he deserves. Why is it that he bothers me a lot more than tracy? I don't get it.
It's the routine that kills me.
