so....
so i guess it's been awhile since i've updated. i know... there is no excuse excpet that when i'm on the computer i'm too lazy to type.
work is going really well....i really like the kids. Special Olympics was last Wednesday and we had a blast..... the kids really enjoyed running and jumping and getting ribbons. and when we got back to school, all the other classes were waiting to cheer for us. i've never seen my kids smile that much, it was awesome. then they got popsicles as a treat and of course dripped them all over their brand new sweatshirts that we got for them. of course on thursday and friday they didn't want to work.. they wanted to go to "Olympics" again... but we survived the week.
and as the end of the year approaches they are getting more and more restless... this good weather is ruining our lesson plans. but the kids are learning a lot.... all of them can count to 15 now... and 2 of them can count to 20..... as opposed to all of them who could only count 1-2-3 in January when i started.
that's the only exciting thing going on here. life is pretty boring.... and exhausting. i'm coming home from work everyday ready for a nap.....
