I just can't win.

I just spent a million hours and several rolls of tape and some scented garbage bags trying to seal up my stupidass window. I knew it was leaking in air, but I didn't realize just how bad until I tried to fix it. As I was trying to tape the bags to the top (which is pretty impossible) I had to stop a few times because my fingers got too cold. The breeze comes through THAT bad. It's not good!!! If it was a normal window I could seal it up fine. However, my room is under the staircase, so part of the window is hidden behind it so I don't really have a way to get the entire window, though there is just that little bit of room between the two where the air still escapes quite breezily. I've managed to seal it up alright after many failed attempts. Enough to where the air stills comes through but I don't get the direct breeze which is nice. But, as the wind blows so do the bags. It's constant, like a heartbeat. The rumbling plastic is thoroughly annoying, but less so than the cold which I guess is a nice change. I wanat to buy the plasticy goodness specifically for sealing windows, but I don't know if I can make it work in this situation.

I need a handyman/woman.
And cuddlebuddy.
A 2-in-one deal would be even better.
Thanks.
