I did Christmas-Eve-Eve things all day and then around 8 Ariel called me but I was busy so I didn't answer and I called her back around 9. She said was was laying in her bed trapped in her dark room as she had been all day because her Mom and brother came in for the holidays so now she is locking herself in her room until the new year. She wanted company so I grabbed Amie and we had our gift exchange. We sat in her room for an hour and talked and went through old yearbooks and talked about the old days.. Then we got bored and sat in the bathroom and listened to music like old times, minus the alcohol. Motsy wanted us to slumber at his house tonight and we secretly decided we didn't want to and then he called and said he changed his mind and didn't want company, which is very odd because he always wants us to stay. So even though we planned on staying in all along we then drove into town and parked outside his house and stared into his windows. His truck was there but he was not so we called him and he said he was at Blakes house so we drove to Blakes and parked outside his house and waited until we saw movement in the windows and when Motsy's hat made an appearance we decided it was okay and so then we drove by everyone's house in town that we knew. We did this for hours just driving around and trying to find secrets in the night. Then we called up everyone we knew near and far at 2am and no one wanted to hang out with us. Joe wouldn't even meet us for Denny's, so we went to McDonalds and had snackwraps and coke without him. We drove past Blakes a dozen more times to make sure everything was just as they said it was and then we drove some more. We couldn't find Chris which made us sad but we are all going to take time out of either our Christmas Eve or Day to see him before he heads to prison on the 27th for 11 months for something he didn't even do. I will miss him, but we are excited to write each other the best letters in the world. I would say I'm excited for NYE because I am... but I am so not excited for anything beyond that.
