Yesterday I traveled two hours to Shakespeare's Birthplace - Stratford-Upon-Avon, home to the Royal Shakespeare Company. I got to see Shakespeare's grave, his birthplace, and I met Ian McKellan after seeing him as Sorin in the Seagull. I hate being a stagedoor johnny, but it was Ian McKellan and I thought why not. He was lovely. In a few weeks I'm seeing Patrick Stewart in MacBeth. This country has amazing theatre all over it!
