Thank you, and that sounds a bit disturbing, though maybe I misjudge crows. I've heard they're pretty intelligent

ay caramba, that's sorta incredible. you should name him, unless you already have. this is how i've gotten to tolerate/somewhat like a tarantula.

Ahh it's probably not the same crow. But I like to think it is.

I'm frightened of spiders, but tarantulas are so big they're ok, as they're more like pets... it's a crazy kind of logic, but it works for my brain.

Haha, I think I'd had the opposite perspective. A small spider I can ignore (unless it's near my bed), but a tarantula just seems like the problem exaggerated.

In recent weeks, however, I have come more to your side, because I can a tarantula more as a pet, and not an intrusive insect.
