About Me: I am very odd and eclectic. I am a professional musician, so it kind of comes with the territory. My interests are quite varied: I love reading, graphic design, music of all kinds, art, nature, anything antique, the Victorian era in particular, religion, and history. I am a Christian and that is a huge part of my life, but I do not let differences of faith dictate who I am close to. Having meaningful conversations is one of my favorite things to do; my ideal perfect evening is a quiet dinner and conversation with friends.
Movies: Most of the movies that I love are movie adaptations of my favorite books. Harry Potter, The Lord of the rings, Jane Eyre, A Little Princess, Lolita, The Hunger Games, The Fault in Our Stars, The Vampire Chronicles, and The Phantom of the Opera to name a few. Some other favorite films include Star Wars, Shrek, Pirates of the Caribbean, Legally Blonde, Elf, and The Mummy.
Music: Classical music is my favorite, but I can enjoy (or at least appreciate) almost anything.
Video Games: World of Warcraft! It's the one and only video game I've ever played, but I love it.
TV Series: Once Upon a Time, Switched at Birth, Sister Wives, Catfish, Dexter, The Vampire Diaries, The Originals, True Blood, I Love Lucy, Pretty Little Liars, The Big Bang Theory, Frasier, The Tudors, and Sleepy Hollow, to name a few. My TV tastes are also eclectic, as you can see.
Books: Those mentioned above under movie adaptations are my favorites, particularly The Lord of the Rings and Jane Eyre. Jane is my spirit animal - I relate to her on such a deep level. I probably read Jane Eyre at least once per year. As with movies and television, I have an eclectic taste in books as well. I particularly love the classics, but I'm open to anything that's a good read.

What are you looking for in a penpal? I've recently had a bit of a falling out with my best friend of 20 years, and most of my other friends are somewhat far away at the moment since I am now out of college. I would really like to have a penpal that I can connect to and have super deep, meaningful conversations with. Some of the best friends I've ever had have been people I've met through Livejournal and only ever corresponded with, so I know that strong friendships through correspondence is not only possible but a very special friendship.
How many penpals do you currently have? None on any regular basis.
How many do you want? 2-3 at most
Do you want email pals? Sure! Email, texting, etc. are all great with me.
Do you want snail mail pals? Yes
How long are your letters/emails? 2-3 pages for letters, 5-6 paragraphs for email.
Reply time? Within 2 days for email, within a week for letters.

Where would you like them to be from? Anywhere! However, I only speak English and French.
