Getting back into penpalling!

I have taken a long break from writing letters (been doing that on and off for a few years now, but had to stop completely because of my studies), but I have free time again and I missed writing letters, so I figured I would get back into this.
Here we go!
Name: Marie (or Sunako, my online persona). You can call me both.

Location: Canada (Quebec)
Occupation: Recent university graduate (graduated with a Masters in English literature and a diploma in teaching). Currently working in retail and taking a break from the academia.
Languages: Fluent French and English. I know some Spanish, German and Japanese (would like to learn more and practice). I would also like to learn Korean.
Interests: Reading, blogging, penpalling, music, tumblr, geeky things (I'm in a lot of fandoms), korean and japanese culture, fashion, veganism. I also used to be heavily into all things fantasy, ancient history, mythology, paganism and the like. While I am no longer active in these interests, they still have a place in my heart and I would like to get back to them at some point
Music: I shall not list the complete list of bands I'm into, but I have an extremely eclectic musical taste. I mostly enjoy kpop, k-indie, some j-pop/rock, metal (symphonic, folk and viking are my favourite sub-genres) and I'll enjoy a movie soundtrack every now and then when I'm reading and don't want to be distracted.
Books: Tolkien, Jane Austen, John Green, George RR Martin, Cassandra Clare, Haruki Murakami... I basically read anything you put in my hands, and chances are I will enjoy it. I'm always willing to discuss books and share recommendations.

What are you requesting:
How many penpals do you want: A few. I don't have an exact number. If you are awesome I want to get to know you. I'd like to write letters regularly, but I don't want to be flooded with mail either.
Do you want e-mals: Snail mail only. I tend not to take e-mail very seriously and I am lazy
Do you want snail mail: Yes, it's what I'm here for.
Lenght of letters: Depends on what I have to say and what we have in common. I generally try to write at least medium lenght letters.
How quick are you to respond I actually don't know now that I'm not in school anymore *stares in awe at all the free time* Maybe about 2-3 weeks?
Preferences:
Male or Female: Doesn't matter. What does matter though, is common interests.
Age: 20-30 (but if you're younger or older, we have a lot of common interests and you think we'd get along, send me a message anyway)

What are you looking for: Someone who shares my interests, who is interested in getting to know me (and I them of course) and is interested in building a genuine friendship. Finally someone who writes regularly (or at least does not disappear. I understand that life happens, but I'd like to know if my penpal has to go on a letter hiatus or something) and is committed to letter writing.
