About Me:
It's been ages since I've written letters and it's entirely my own fault for getting caught up with everything else going on in my life at the time. However, I've been gifted with a typewriter recently and am itching to write letters again. (I have a feeling I might hand write most of my letters though; it just feels more personal.)

I'm shy (in person), am a Nerdfighter, love to stay up in the middle of the night, prefer winter weather to the summer's, and love to read. Oh, and I'm looking to make new friends via letters! :D (And if I failed to write you a letter before and you'd still like one, please let me know and I'll get right on that!)

Interests/Hobbies: traveling, Tumblr, blogging, writing stories, books, and good company.
Music: Almost everything although I tend to prefer Alternative Rock or Singer/Songwriter stuff. Oh, and musicals! Mustn't forget them!
Movies: I've been reading so much that it's hard to say. Book adaptations and movies based around comic books (said the girl who really doesn't read comic books but loves the movieverses based off of them). The Hunger Games, the Harry Potter series, The Avengers (let's not get me started about Tom Hiddleston), Third Star, and that's all that is coming to mind right now. Trust me on this, the list is actually quite longer than that.
Books: Too many to list. I'd point out that most of what I read is Young Adult and when it isn't YA, it tends to involve fantasy elements.
A few favorites include: The Harry Potter series by J.K. Rowling, Daughter of Smoke and Bone by Laini Taylor, Shadow and Bone by Leigh Bardugo, The Archived by Victoria Schwab, the Fever series by Karen Marie Moning, The Fault in Our Stars by John Green, The Night Circus by Erin Morgenstern, Anna and the French Kiss by Stephanie Perkins, and Imaginary Girls by Nova Ren Suma.
Authors I will read anything from: John Green and Neil Gaiman.
TV: That sad moment when you realize that all you really watch are: Doctor Who, BBC Sherlock, Psych, American Horror Story, How I Met Your Mother, Game of Thrones (I still need to read the books), and True Blood (not as consistently anymore). I do also watch some anime. Not a ton anymore, but I try to at least watch a little of what comes out every season. Recently the only one I managed to watch all season long was Psycho Pass. (Generally if I like the art style I'll at least attempt to watch it.)

Pen Pal Info
How many penpals do you have? None at the moment.
How many penpals do you want? One to three. I would say that five penpals would be my absolute maximum. What? If you sound like an awesome person I'm completely likely to cave and write to you too!
Do you want email or snail mail pals? Strictly snail mail! Mostly because I love to write in cursive and also because it's always lovely to get a letter in the mail. I might whip out the typewriter too! Well, once I get it a new ribbon. Soon, typewriter, soon. *pets it*
How long are your letters? That depends entirely upon what we've been talking about. I would point out that I can be incredibly random (jumping from one subject to the next) at times. If we're talking about books, fandoms, tea, Benedict Cumberbatch, or Tom Hiddleston? Well, I could probably go on for ages. But that's not to say that it's all I'm capable of writing about.
How long does it take you to reply? A few days to a month. I'll try to be as fast as possible without sacrificing content.
Age preference? None really. You could be my age, younger, or older. In all honesty, it makes no difference to me.
Would you like your penpal to be male or female? I'd lean towards female although I'm not adverse to writing to a male. For crying out loud, I have a younger brother and some of my best conversations are with him!
Where would you like them to be from? Anywhere!
What are you looking for in a penpal? Someone who doesn't mind talking about anything and everything, shares some common interests with me, doesn't mind how random I can be, and doesn't necessarily care that I'm making this into a run-on sentence. Honestly, I'm pretty adaptable and just looking forward to meeting new people! (Also hopefully making new friends.) If you've read through all of this, congratulations! This is usually how I write, er, speak... you know what I mean. So if you're okay with it, yay! Please leave a comment and I will reply ASAP--I promise! DFTBA!
