About me: I'm Lisa. I'm 21 years old as of the beginning of January. (No, I don't feel different and I don't drink or anything so again, no, nothing has changed.) I've been vegetarian for almost 6 years, I think. I like to cook so if you have any vegetarian recipes I would love to take them off your hands. I tend to swear, so if you don't like stuff like that then you might not want to talk to me. I can censor myself, I just choose not to most of the time. For the most part I'm a hermit, but I do like talking to people and writing letters. I like maps and I'll love you forever and ever and ever if you send me one of your area. I also love ducks and collect rubber ducks. I sometimes ramble a lot though I do try to keep what I'm writing short(ish) and easy to read. For the most part I'm more looking for someone to talk to than someone to swap things with, though that's okay too. Human interaction. Main Interests: I spend a lot of my time reading. It's probably my favorite hobby. (My minimum reading goal for this year is 100 books.) Photography and writing also play a big part in my life. In 2012 I'm doing a 365 photo project that is going splendidly thus far. I'm always looking for little things to occupy my time. I like to watch movies (and TV recently because Netflix is totally taking over my life), I keep a couple notebooks that I write and mess around in, I spend some time just staring off and thinking, I cook, et cetera et cetera. My interests change from day to day.
Music: I haven't been listening to music very much lately, but some artists/bands I like are (in no order): Bob Dylan, Led Zeppelin, Blink-182, Pink Floyd, Brand New, David Bowie, Mixtapes, Tom Petty... there's a ton more but my brain isn't working. Movies: I like a ton of movies from pretty much all genres. "Coraline" is currently in my DVD player. Before that it was "The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian". I love love love "Gone with the Wind", "G.I. Blues", Buster Keaton movies, Leonardo DiCaprio ("Titanic" was in my DVD player recently too), and a ton more. I'll give any movie a chance. What I listed isn't an official Favorites List or anything... just stuff I've watched recently. (By the way: I watched "HappyThankYouMorePlease" the other night and it was pretty cute.)
Books/Authors: I love to read so I'll try to give just about any book a chance. I don't have one set genre I read from because I sort of dabble all over, but I do find I always make my way back to Young Adult. Check out my Goodreads. It's not complete, but I'm working on it.
TV: My house hasn't had cable for 10ish years so all I watch is what's on the free channels and Netflix. I try not to watch TV too much but Netflix has recently consumed my life. Anyway: "Sex and the City", "Glee", "Shameless (US)", "Doctor Who" (finally tried it out and got sucked in), "New Girl", "Parenthood", "Sherlock", "Seinfeld"... I don't watch all of these all the time. They're just shows I've enjoyed.

How long does it take you to reply to a letter? If there is nothing going on in my life I'd say less than a week.
What sex do you want them to be? Don't care.
Where do you want them to be from? The US is the easiest for me but anywhere is fine. I can't speak anything but English, though.
