Name: Emilia or Emilian
Age: 17
Gender: Multigender
Orientation: Pomosexual
Location: Canada
I've posted here once before a while ago, but I thought I'd like to one more time.
A bit about me:
The biggest aspect of my life is traveling, I was lucky enough to grow up traveling and it's become a part of me. I'm not religious, I'm not really sure what I am. I think if people were able to see past the typical binaries of both science and spirituality they could find a way to bring the two together. I believe that the scientific components that make up our universe are so completely far beyond our grasp it's ridiculous for anyone to claim they know a thing about 'what comes next'.
When it comes to gender and orientation I identify as multigender and pomosexual. When it comes to gender, my biological sex is female, but I sometimes choose to identify as male, androgynous, or gender-neutral. Pomosexual is more of a word to describe someone who rejects and/or ignores the binaries of sexual orientation. I realize that many people will immediately dismiss this as impossible, or a phase, especially because of my age but I've accepted that.
I don't believe in marriage, and when it comes to dating I think that whether or not it's right is very circumstantial to the individuals involved and their lives. I don't date and won't be in the foreseeable future. My life right now is devoted to traveling and spending time experiencing everything I can in life
Interests:
Language studies, biology, the arts, philosophy, psychology, surrealism, history, activism, volunteering, gender-studies.
Hobbies:
Traveling, body mod, painting, writing, drawing, slack-lining, gaming, anime, fire-eating, sailing, bead-making, swimming, scuba-diving, reading, mountain climbing.
Movies:
I don't watch many films, but a few favorites I can think of off the top of my head include pink flamingo, antichrist, rocky horror picture show, el topo, pulp fiction, invention of lying, imaginarium of doctor parnassus, stoning of soraya m., fear and loathing in Las Vegas, requiem for a dream, ink, peter pan, and anything with zombies
Music:
I like music in literally every genre except country, I haven't got anything against country I just don't personally enjoy it save a few of Bob Dylan's more country feeling songs. A few bands/artists I've been frequenting lately include: Gogol Bordello, Elton John, Placebo, Bach, Rage Against The Machine, Iggy Pop & the Stooges.
TV:
I don't really watch TV, but some things I've enjoyed I can think of right now are The Mighty Boosh, The Colbert Report, The Increasingly Bad Decisions of Todd Margret, Real Time With Bill Maher, and Ugly Americans.
Books:
I wouldn't even know where to begin. Books on philosophy, history, culture-studies, poetry, sci-fi, horror, surrealism, anything basically. I especially have a penchant for older books, from at least the turn of the century.
How many pen pals I have: 3
How many pen pals I want: 2 or 3 more, but really as many as are interested.
Email or Snail Mail: I love snail mail but sometimes email is better since I do travel a lot, but whenever I'm going to be in one set place for a while I'm fine with writing actual letters. Also, if someone emails me but prefers to receive a letter in return that's fine as well since I can send mail from pretty much anywhere. Usually when I send actual letters, I tuck a photo or a patch or just something random inside for the sake of it
Typical letter contents: I couldn't say. It'll vary every time. Sometimes it might be less than a page and sometimes it might be five.
Typical reply time: Less than a week unless there's a particular reason for delay (which I'll try my best to warn about ahead of time).
Age, Gender, and Location preference: Any, I believe there's something of value to be learned from people of all walks of life.
What are you looking for: I'm not really sure to be honest. Someone I can have an honest conversation with, someone open-minded, someone who can argue about things without getting angry over it since I believe stimulating conversation is a must. Someone who's not afraid to be wrong about things or act weird. I don't really care if we have similar interests or not but it's good to have at least a few differences since it's always exciting to hear about things and lifestyles you don't know much about.
If you're interested just leave me a comment, you might want to read my profile beforehand as it says a bit more about me, but it's not necessary =]
