My friends tend to describe me as shy and quiet, but someone who always is willing to do the right thing. I guess I'm shy and quiet but once I get to know someone, I start to show my quirky humor.
Well, I'm currently trying to get back to college soon, since I left after a year and a half. I guess I wasn't really motivated or really felt like I belonged at that particular school. What I initially wanted to study was nursing, but now that I've been able to think about it, I want to major in something math related. Maybe accounting.
I love animals. I have two dogs and a cat. I just simply adore them since they always make me laugh. I like to write a lot as well. Mostly about thoughts and ideas that come into my head. I also like to take pictures, not of myself, but of nature, dogs, cats, and other interesting things that I may see around me. I've also currently taught myself how to knit.
TV:
I love the show House! I'm pretty much obsessed with it. I also like Law and Order: SVU and CI. I like comedy shows like SNL and Community. I also enjoy watching the History Channel and Discovery Channel. I really like the documentaries and history shows that they have. I love watching PBS, mainly because of the cooking show, America's Test Kitchen. I also enjoy watching soccer and some baseball. I also like to watch some wrestling (WWE).
I also like to watch some anime (my brother is really into Japanese culture). Naturo, Bleach, and, my favorite, Chi's Sweet Home.
Music:
Currently, I'm really into independent artist and artist that aren't well known. Some of the artist that I like include: Andrew Belle, Katie Herzig, Erin McCarley, Matthew Perryman Jones, Brandi Carlile, Anna Nalick, Alexis Babini, Struan Shields, The Beatles, Meiko, U2, and others. I'm pretty much into any type of music, except maybe rap and hip-hop. I do like to make mixed CDs for people, so you may expect a mixed CD or two in the mail someday.
I'm currently trying to teach myself how to play the guitar, since I have some ideas on some potential songs.
Books:
I just currently reread Jane Eyre after reading it the first time in high school. I have to say that that is one of my favorite books. Other's include: The Memory Keeper's Daughter, Secrets of a Fire King, The Lovely Bones, The Notebook, The Giver. I really love reading, so I'm definitely looking for new suggestions on books to read
I also read some manga. The only ones I've read are: Bleach, Naruto, Ranma 1/2, and, of course, Chi's Sweet Home.
Movies:
I really love romantic movies, but not overly cheesy. Also the types of movies that make you think and documentaries. I've seen a lot of classic movies in high school thanks to a film class I took.
Favorites include: While You Were Sleeping, City of Angels, Cinema Paradiso, The Gold Rush, Gone With the Wind, The Godfather.
