About Me: I'm a full time Business Administration student, born and raised in the pacific northwest, which I love dearly. I know a little about a lot, and a lot about a little; just enough to make me dangerous, I s'pose. As far as letter writing is concerned, I can self edit if you'd like, but more likely than not my letters will not tend to every single convention of grammar, to the chagrin of many an English teacher and my writing beta/brain twin/best friend. My favorite color is green, I love to eat breakfast for dinner, I'm huge into music & literature, as for the rest, we can get to know each other as we write. (I do however feel the need to disclaim myself, lest anyone become offended, etc. In my 'Likes' I mention fan fiction. I mean this is the most sincere way possible. I write and read fan fiction in may fandoms and genres, primarily including slash. I would **LOVE** to have a pen pal that is into this as well, but it is not necessary. Things I Like:
Music: Music is a huge part of my life, so this section will be long, you've been warned ;). My tastes are pretty eclectic. I like to listen to classical music (mainly when I'm studying, but not just then) and all kinds of bands: Blue Oyster Cult, Panic! at the Disco, The Beatles, The Eagles, Cobra Starship, Fall Out Boy, Adele, Band of Horses, Queen, Cage the Elephant, Journey, Foreigner, Old Nickelback, Cold Play, Counting Crows. I also love soundtracks: anything by Hans Zimmer, Danny Elfman, or Howard Shore, The Harry Potter soundtracks, Sweeney Todd, Nightmare Before Christmas, The Phantom of the Opera, Lord of the Rings. I also like Musicals (mock if you will). I give extreme props to anyone who's heard/loves Razia's Shadow.
Books: I love sci-fi/fantasy books, although I'll read anything at least once. Some of my favorites are: A Song of Ice and Fire, Harry Potter, what I've read of The Hobbit so far, The Eagle of the Ninth, all the Supernatural books, Dean Koontz's Odd Thomas series, The Chronicles of Narnia, The Looking Glass Wars, anything by Neil Gaiman (I love everything he writes!), Douglas Adams, etc.
Movies: The Boiler Room, The Labyrinth, Saved!, The Dangerous Lives of Alter Boys, Imaginary Heroes, Inception, Lord of the Rings, The Boondock Saints movies, The Frighteners, The Dark Crystal, Constantine, Some Kind of Wonderful.
TV: SUPERNATURAL, Cash Cab, Mythbusters, MST3K, Merlin, Dead Like Me, X-Files, Lie to Me, Big Bang Theory, and I'm sure I'll love A Game of Thrones when it finally hits TV.
Hobbies: I practice my flute, amateur photography whenever I get the chance, read (including lots of comic books/manga), write a lot (quality non-withstanding, fan-fiction included), watch anime, and I like to go swimming whenever I can.
