Since it seems the most convenient way to introduce myself, here's my filled out profile:

Personal interests: painting and drawing, cooking and baking, art and history, and above all writing my own fiction
Music: It should be handmade and original. This can be Nine Inch Nails, PJ Harvey, Irish Folk, Edvard Grieg, or Baroque music . I'm always open for new discoveries.
Books: It's hard to find good reading material, but when I do, I devour it.
TV: I don't have a TV-set, but I do like watching well made series and documentaries online.
Films: Occasionally. Mainly book adaptations.
About me: I am interested in many things and will gladly read anything you'd like to write about. It does not always have to be of the happy-go-lucky category. I do embrace life as an interesting mixture of light and dark and many shades and colours in between.
How many pen pals do you have? About half a dozen, most of them needing two to three months to answer, so my post box needs fodder.
Snail-mail or e-mail? Preferably snail mail, though I do appreciate the occasional e-mail, so I won't say no if you chose that way.
How long are your letters? Depends on my partner. If you write two-paged letters, so will I. However, should you have something to talk about and you sprinkle in a few questions, letters can be ten pages in length and more. I'd like that.
Handwritten or typed? o.O Handwritten, of course.
Decoration and other additions? Please. Letters are art projects for me, and I'd be delighted to see that reciprocated. It's not a qualifier, though. In the past I also had pen friends with whom I exchanged little gifts for Christmas or other occasions. I wouldn't mind picking that up again.
Reply time: Depends on the length and content of the letter I am answering. Can be anywhere between an immediate reply and eight weeks.
