About Myself
Generally, people see me as a happy person. I'm not much for drama or crying over my problems. I'm mature, I guess. A lot of people use the word cynical I prefer to think of it as 'not oblivious'. I hate drama, I just don't need it in my life. I'm a good listener, and I don't mind listening to people's problems as long as they DO something about them instead of just sit there and whine. I also love sweets. Oh, and you should know that I like anime, but I hate the word desu.
Music
I listen to a lot of happy, softer, nicer music. Some of my favourites are Sugar Ray, Corrinne May, Ben Folds, Regina Spektor, the Offspring, Shaggy, Jesse McCartney, Mindless Self Indulgence, Nightmare, the Goo Goo Dolls, Nickelback, and Owl City. There's more but I don't want to list them ALL.

How many penpals do you have? None, really. Maybe 1, but she's not really a penpal.
How many penpals do you want? Not too many, maybe 2 or 3?

How long are your letters? It depends on what the conversation is about. Sometimes they're really long, like 5 pages. And other times it's just half of one.
How long does it take you to respond? Not long at all~! If e-mail, it should be almost right away. If snail-mail, I'd start writing as soon as I got your letter and try to send it within the next 3 days.
Handwritten or typed? Always handwritten, if snail-mail. It adds that personal touch that shows you care~
Gender Preference? None. As long as you can hold a conversation!
Where in the world? Actually, I'd prefer if they lived in North America. Over-sea mail is expensive!
What are you looking for in a penpal? Someone who has strong thoughts and opinions, it doesn't matter if they agree with me. Someone strong, minimum drama in their lives. Maybe someone who's accomplished a lot? Maturity is a must, as is proper spelling and grammar (if handwritten a few typos are okay~).
