About Me: Oh dear... this could be long. I read - a lot. I bite only one of my nails. Tortilla chips are my comfort food. I love swimming, I did it competitively for two years but couldn't this year, sadly. I have been in love once, and settled for pretending I was in love once. I have four younger brothers and a mother who... doesn't like me.
The things that might turn you off include the facts that I am an atheist (and please don't write to me just trying to change that, I really don't feel like dealing with it) and a flaming liberal, I smoke (yeah, horrible habit), I curse a fair bit (but I can avoid that in letters if you want)... I have strong opinions, but I don't mind if others have different ones... I just don't like being told I should believe differently.
I am currently making a corset, planning cutting my hair, failing a math class, wondering if I can stand to start working at my fanfiction again...
Hobbies/Interests: Reading, avoiding my homework, downloading music and books xD, making mad cooking experiments that almost always work, climbing trees whenever possible, texting of course, arguing with others (I love arguing honestly).
Music: I have very odd tastes in music. My favorite band is Blue October and I almost died when I learned I couldn't go to the concert they're having only a city away, 'cause I'm not eighteen... some of my other favorites? hed (pe), Coldplay, Fiona Apple, Margot & The Nuclear So And So's, Marjorie Fair, the Red Hot Chili Peppers, Sebadoh. Like I said, odd.
Books: I don't like Twilight. Sorry. Otherwise... I read pretty much everything. I am a diehard Harry Potter Fan. I just started reading the Dune series by Frank Herbert, and I love that. I read way above my level... say, Sir Walter Scott is enjoyable for me. But I also enjoy well-written books below my level - I'm re-reading Animorphs right now.
TV: I really don't do TV much. I love NCIS, Law & Order SVU, The Colbert Report, The Jon Stewart Show, and Saturday Night Live. Not much else.
Movies: Eh... I appreciate books more, honestly. I talk too much during movies and get distracted. I can watch only a few movies over and over, including Juno, Batman: The Dark Knight, Pirates of the Carribbean... I have horrible taste in movies, I'm sure.
Tattoos/piercings: Just my ears, three times on the bottom and one on the top. I did the top one and one of the bottom sets myself.

Same as my letters... actually, usually longer, 'cause I work on them while multitasking and that makes it easier for me to think.

For snail mail, I would handwrite unless my handwriting was really, really, really bad that day.

Would depend on the other person's distance and when I got the letter... school is a pain. Now as for emails, within a day.
