About Me: I grew up on a tiny island. Then I moved to a big city for university. I'm studying global development... but sometimes I think I should have gone to theatre school. Or that I'd rather just work at a coffee shop forever then play video games all night. Mostly I just want to see the world. I have a hard time answering questions like this...
Hobbies/Interests: Acting, writing (especially poetry), painting (especially abstract, since I'm crappy at drawing), languages & learning them, linguistics in general, existentialism, yummy teas, wearing scarves (it counts as a hobby?), cooking, baking, driving, music, video games (especially RPGs), photography, web & graphic design... hmm... definitely other things, but I'm pulling a major blank.
Music: Most things that fall under the big umbrella called "indie". I'm pretty easy... I'm not going to list bands here, but I've got a full 80G iPod, so music is certainly one of my passions! (even though I'm not that good at making it) Um ask me about music.
Books: Everything Is Illuminated & Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close by Jonathan Safran Foer. I love him... I used to have a lot more time for books, but I haven't read in a while...
TV: What Not to Wear, The Office, South Park, Arrested Development, Scrubs. I don't watch much TV though. I don't HAVE one!
Movies: A Knight's Tale and The Princess Bride! I also love: American Beauty, The Hours, Pulp Fiction, The Curious Case of Benjamin Button. I'm really trying to narrow it down, here.
Tattoos/piercings: I have five piercings: two in my left ear, three in my right. Nothin' fancy, just on the lobes. I want more in my ears but I have like no disposable income.
How many penpals do you have?: Just one!
How many pen pals do you want?: Maybe two or three more?
How long are your letters?: I have a bad habit of rambling, as you can probably tell. I guess if you wanted them long I could do really long, but I could do just a page, or two, or something. Depends!
How long are your emails?: I only ever seem to send emails for like, work and school purposes. I would like a snail mail pal :)
Do you hand-write or type?: I wish I had a typewriter! I write. Well, it is more like printing? It's very easy to read though.
How long does it take you to reply to an email?: Email? That day, probably. But with letters, it takes about a week to get to me within Canada, I guess a bit longer from elsewhere, and I would write on the weekends when I'm not as busy... so within the week that I get it!
What age would you like your pen pal to be?: Around my age... university age. High school maybe if you are mature and stuff :)
